Bio

I was born in 1952 and have always lived in Bologna, Italy, although I have travelled a great deal around the world. The enduring interest in racing cars led me to the passion for painting them and since the 70s I have had the fortune to collaborate as an illustrator with Autosprint and Rombo. You can now find my works in Autosprint , Ruoteclassiche, Autocollezione Magazine , Klassieke techniek-Nl , Epocauto and other collectors’ magazines. My paintings and drawings have been published in several books (Trento – Bondone , Autobianchi Abarth A112, Alpine A110 Les Bleues Italiennes , Abarth-the scorpion tales , Fiat 128 , Abarth memories and others ). I have shown my works in collective and individual exhibits in Italy and other countries.I also cooperate with renowned auto experts and coach builders in the reconstruction of the original lines of classic cars that have been in accidents or otherwise modified. That work is accomplished with the help of a huge archive of photographic material spanning from 1908 to the present day, some of which has never been published and put together in thirty years of research and acquisitions.

In addition, I develop scale models for publishing houses and follow the entire project, from taking the pictures of the actual vehicles to the production of the finished models in China. I am the curator of several collections of models and my “children” are the “Alfa Romeo Sport Collection”,  Airplanes “Ali d’Italia”, “Valentino Rossi” bikes , Lamborghini e Maserati collection for Fabbri/Gazzetta dello Sport . I have also developed the Abarth collection , Mile Miglia, Moto Guzzi collection, the Alfa Romeo Centenary collection, the Fiat 500 Abarth and Alfa Romeo Duetto , Escavatore NH , Giulia dei Carabinieri, Fiat 500F , Iveco Stralis, Golf GTI , Vespa GS in 1:8 scale to build up for Hachette, among many others.
